The CHOICE Consortium meets in Bucharest for the 4th Transnational Meeting

The 4st CHOICE project Transnational Meeting (M4) took place at ARC headquarters in Bucharest, Romania. The meeting was held face to face on 4th and 5th of May 2023. The aim of this meeting was to give all the participants the possibility to exchange findings, insights and impressions about pilot activities conducted in the partner schools, share point of views and feedback on project content, methodologies, activities, and future actions.

Thanks to the discussions on piloting phase, partners could exchange their experiences and knowledge. The Consortium adjusted its aim to better help schoolteachers and educators to foster the Citizenship competences necessary to lead a more sustainable and aware lifestyles in EU students and younger generations.

At the meeting, partners went over the status of the project so far, including the partners’ contributions to the project’s progress, the quarterly internal reporting activities, and the upcoming activities to be carried out in the next few months, such as the piloting phase conclusion, the organisation of the Multiplier Events, and the launch of the CHOICE Short Novel Photo Contest.

M4 host ARC School welcomes the CHOICE Consortium

The meeting started with a short visit around ARC school grounds. Students prepared a welcome programme and guided the CHOICE Consortium on a tour of the ARC school premises. Furthermore, the Consortium met the school staff, including the school’s Headmaster, and warmly welcomed by students and teachers.

During the two-days long meeting, Project Coordinator Deep Blue presented the timeline of the last 6 months of the project. Also, DBL recapped the results and activities timeline with the partners, so that all the Consortium is aware of the next steps and activities. 

The CHOICE products to be still delivered were listed, such as National Reports and Summative Reports, as well as the Key Performance Indicators listed in the Proposal. The Consortium has achieved most of the KPIs, those still to be achieved will be reached once the partners hold their Multiplier Events.

The 4th Transnational Meeting in Bucharest was a chance for the partners to look back on the reached milestones of the project and plan the next, last steps leading the CHOICE’s conclusion. The next and last Transnational meeting will be held in Ankara, Türkiye, hosted by partner school TEK Ortaokulu.
